Here is a couple of baby boy and baby girl cards i made recently for the birth of my neice and my friends little boy. I may have seen this idea somewhere before but that might have just been ideas to use triangular cards. I honestly can't remember because i do not usually make cards.
wow there are some gorgeous cards, thanks all for sharing. Here is my attempt following the birth of a friends little girl yesterday, (sorry the scan isn't straight.)

the bear is a drawing of mine photocopied onto tracing paper and coloured in on the reverse using pantone marker and smudged.
The caterpillar is a drawing of mine coloured ith watercolour pencils and those shakey eyes stuck on.
The handprint was taken from my little sister and I made it into a stamp with fun foam. Each print came out slighty different due to the nature of the foam so they still lookied like genuine prints. IMG_0383.JPGIMG_0385.JPGThis is the stamp I made and the actual handprint that I took it from. As you can see from the card that parts are missing due to the paint shrinking back on the foam prior to stamping.
I needed to make a really quick new baby card. I had already die cut a sizzix design, intending to interchange sections, but because I needed a card immediately I just stuck the die cut on. I was really happy with the finished look too!
I was asked to do a couple of personalised cards today so these are what I came up with. The 3 card was inspired by an I LOVE YOU card on ILOVECRAFTROBO.COM
Heres a card I made using a some bits from a digi kit rak by Liz Thompson of Graceful Designs Uk the kit is Urban Monkey and it was way back last year that it was offered as a freebie but it fitted this person so much that I just had to use bits to make a card for her b'day.
