I don't mind admitting that I have always been scared of DG, mainly cos I have never applied myself to understand what and how you use it and so have never bought any.
I can safely say that after reading this thread I will definately try some. It sounds FAB!

i used it today to fill fimo letters and glaze them. also made raised embellishments with it.
I won't ask how you managed to do that!
Edited because the part I was referring to didn't get put in the quote:
It was a bit about getting DG and vellum stuck to her A**e!

Three In A Bed ...
Ok, I have just opened my first bottle of DG and used it to make my QK letters shiny and I am very impressed - they look fab.
I noticed someone said about not shaking because it makes bubbles, well I don't think I have shaken it, but I have got loads of bubble. If I leave the bottle, will it settle again or have I ruined the whole lot?
Thank you
Katy

Katy,
you DG will be fine... as soon as you have applied the DG just pop any air bubbles with a pin. Works for me!

Joy!
Put a couple of drops into a suitable "container" I use a paint palette and tint with ink (I use the Dee Grunig stuff). If you only use a drop of ink its lovely and subtle. You can make stained glass effects with clear shrink plastic.
