PS - fancy a wee challenge? Ive made my lubbly freind Anna "lift" this tonight (but she stooopidly did it on 12x12 - this is 6x6) Tee hee. You wanna have a go? - come on - its only 6x6. You gotta doodle, you gotta prima it and you gotta call it "I am a mother" (If you are not a mum - then improvise or just say "I am a Woman")
I assume that is something different - at the top of this it is just scrap yourself and it doesn't say anything about I am a Mother or I am a Woman - unless I am going batty - which is entrely possible. It also says do a small page, not it has to be 6x6.

lovin it, lovin it, lovin it

I will do this. I have had a 6x6 album sitting around doing nothing so I intend to fill it up with Me. Will have to find my teenage pics in the loft, but will start with me now.
Ok have done it now, hope you like it!

Master of cut and paste!
Kudos to Kirsty....by making it a challenge, it gives us all 'permission' to scrap ourselves. It's something I've wanted but couldn't quite bring myself to do.... until now. I think the 8x8 album is a great idea and I just happen to have an unused one.
What I'd like to know from the rest of you is whether you're using a theme or just how you're doing it? I've thought of:
- doing the major life events (birth, school, marriage, motherhood, etc.)
- doing the roles I have (daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, etc.
- doing a sort of dreamy/stream of consciousness thing
- or ???????????
Ideas?

I think Kirsty might have just given me the final push I needed to start a BOM. I too have an 8x8 album begging to be used for this ... just need to get started now!

Your challenge was so much fun - to play and do a lo just because. Did mine and uploaded to gallery in 30 mins (ok so it's not the best one out there!!) but it's looking at me from my desk and making me smile. So thanks a million Kirsty xoxo
If you're thinking about doing an album of you - check out the encyclopedia of my ordinary life thread - cz's cku class.
And I've looked at all the lo's so far - loving them - truly fab

I couldn't resist and did one too!!! Kristy, do you want it emailed to ya, or will uploading to my bloggie be enough for ya?

On a Stash Diet !!!
OK -- Quick question for you all.
If I'm about to embark on a full album of me, then I'm not sure I want it as a 12x12, but do want it as a proper album and figure 6x6 is probably the best way to make use of the wonderful cardstock and papers I already have (so I can get 4 pages from one sheet!)
A quick scan of a couple of sponsor sites is only turning up albums as 12x12 and 8x8. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a 6x6 album anywhere?

Yup there are 6 x 6 albums around, the most used ones the Sarabooks probably....
Other than that, lots of scrappers use paperbag books for their 6 x 6 scrapping (that way you already have little "hiding places" for journaling and additional pictures in the openings...)

On a Stash Diet !!!
Will try looking for the Sarabooks after a nights sleep then -- thanks for that
Updated to say.... just done a quick search for these, and the only ones I'm turning up are plain mountboard covers which take rings, and it sounds like the pages are pages rather than top loading protectors. Is this the only sort they do?
