Help!!!!! :-)
Can anyone help please?
I have a colour pic that I want to change to black and white and just have part of it in colour. Can anyone tell me how to do it please?
Or even better, are there any clever peeps out there that can do it for me if I email them the pic? Cheeky I know, but i'm not the best at following instructions.
Thanks

Oooh! I'd love to know how to do that too. It always looks so clever!

right in a nutshell...
copy the layer, then go effects, photo, b&w
now select your magic wand/lasso tool and select the area you want to colour
Next activate your background eraser tool with transparency set to 100 and rub away the area marked with your lasso tool
You will now have the original layer (colour photo) come through ...
You can also apply all sorts of filters like cyan, magenta etc. to create some great monochromatic effects on the selection.
Last save as a jpg file (it will tell you that you are saving to a lossy file and that the layers will be merged, just hit ok) and youre done
