Orlando Shopping - help me compile a list

You need to go for the Joannes rather than the Jo Anne Fabric's. The Jo Anne Fabrics are the ones that just have more of the sewing stuff. I think most of the micheals are pretty much the same. I have just got home from a AC Moore and found that they were a little more expensive than micheals and Joannes. I bought a mini book kit in Michaels for $4.56 and it was $10.40 in AC Moore! But they did have some nice stuff!

I will try and find my list of Scrapbook shops so i can post which ones have closed. I was looking for one that is called Stamp your art out and it is now a bed place!!!!! That was on Orange Blossom Trail! I will get back with the list!

I went to one of the mall places and found a tiny bit of scrapbooking stuff by accident. A pack of Grannys kitchen (or attic ??) stuff was $27 in Michaels and i got it for $9
I found ACMoore had some different stuff from all the others and also had one or two offers on. e.g. a fiscars 12" trimmer plus a spring type scissors for $13.
Everywhere else the scissors alone were over $20.
So dont dismiss ACMoore - just be picky what you buy there.

Also Michaels take Joannes coupons and vice versa

My mum has asked for a little shopping list of things to bring me back from her hols next month.
Her villa is in Kissimmee, right behind the huage Walmart. What good couple of stores should I send her to, that aren't too far out of the way? (although they will be driving around).
Also, anyone got any internet links and/or coupons for 14-28 October or know where she can get some please?

They haven't sent me any coupons beyond 1st Sept but the Joannes internet site looks brilliant and it's free postage. Have you thought of ordering on that and getting it sent to the house?
There is a Joannes just 5 mins down the road from there and it's next to a target. Look them up on their websites.
Target had some quite good stuff too

If you sign up to joannes then they might send you some coupons.
I blagged it at a couple of places and they gave me 40% off one item.

The Sunday newspapers in Walmart have the coupons in every other week and you could just take the coupons out in the shop as most people probably dont want them.

Am compiling a list of shops and a shopping list for my mum, so will include that info.
I don't want to send it to the house as a) it might not arrive while she's there knowing my luck and b) she's offered to stock up on stash for me as a gift, so I won't be paying LOL!
OK, so I've got Michael's, Joann's, Scrapbook Boutique, Target and Walmart.
Think that should keep them busy for a little while!
Joined up at Joann's and will join Michael's too when I get my mum's US address so hopefully I might get some offers by email.

There is a little scrapbook shop just down the road from where she is on the 192. Not sure of the name but if she heads towards st cloud i think it is and she will pass the Kissimmee iron gates on the Right. i think it was the next lights i turned Left and the shop was right on that corner. Sorry a little vague i found it by accident! HUGE choice of papers. I will try and find the reciept and get an address.

I'm in Orlando now and seem to be good at finding shops that have closed or are no good any more!! The one at Millennia seems to be gone and the Scrapbook Boutique is nowhere near as good as in previous years. AC Moore is a good new addition - they stock AMM (including the toteally cool tote for $29.99!) which is unusual for a chain store.

I got some bargains in Target - they have a lot of craft stuff in their dollar spot - crystal brads, gems, ribbon sets, stickers, rub-ons - all for $1 each!! Also JoAnns have 30%off their Disney stuff so a fab 12 x 12 album is only £20. Just trying to decide which one to go for.... They also have an offer on the CK 'how to' kits, now only £20 each - I got all 4!!!

Oh yeah, and apparently there are some 'theme parks' out here?? Don't believe it myself - i haven't seen any...

Sorry we haven't managed to get together, i have been so busy! the rest of my trip is booked with meetings (i guess i have to do some work!) Have you been out to the new shop near clermont? It is really fab and you can sit and crop there as well!
