Bizarre cutting -- anyone had this problem?

All of a sudden my CR is cuting titles all over the page -- up and down from the horizontal, letters cutting over them selves. even cutting off the edge of the mat!

    No idea why.

I've had a look -- nothing is jammed inside it (my first thought) and I've closed it and re-opened it (Robo master as well as the project window) to no avail.

Any ideas? It's as if all of a sudden the tracking has just GONE.

Are you using two o-rings? I had problems when I did this on card that was thick but very smooth. The cuts were all over the place, though never actually off the cutting mat.

Hope you haven't damaged your blade.

I have heard of this on the WBG, but I can't remember what the solution was. It might be worth doing a search on the site or just ring Graphtec. Please let us know how you get on.

Have you done a reboot of your PC as well as CR in case the problem is being held in the memory?

non-sticky mats can cause this, but you would know as the paper comes off the mat. Also chatterbox is a problem as the ridges make it slip.

    Rebooted PC -- didn't help
    De-installed and re-installed Robo Master -- didn't help
Am using the cutting mat (never cut without it) and it's plenty sticky
Cutting (or trying to cut) regular cardstock -- not a ridge in site.

I've ruined one sheet of only 2 I have of this colour. Not sure what else to try!

    Rebooted PC again

Took off the 2nd O ring.

So now it cuts in a straight line, but not thru the cardstock, not even after 3 cuts.

    Giving up now.

I'll just try another kind of cardstok and I think it's likely to be fine. Whatever this is is just too thick and the extra O ring clearly makes it go wild all over the place.

I def. need a new blade, I think. Ah well.....

I have had this. I phoned CR support and they thought the card may be too thick. I haven't had it since I ordered thinner card and too one O ring off.
