    ...just thought I'd share this....

DH came home last night with a tin of Walkers sensations nuts ( from Sainsbury's) ....its about the size of a 500ml paint can with a lid......nice contents but........PERFECT for altering!!!

and yes he thinks I've gone MAD!

Saw them meself yesterday and had the same thought!

There are some fabby Christmas cake tins in Tesco with a clear bit on the top (but expensive, though you get the cake of course!) Oh, and I spotted cute little tins with miniature booze in them!

Actually what was running through my head was, 'Is there any way I can give these as gifts and demand the tin back?'.

There are some large and small 'Darth Vader' mask tins around as well and star shapes - all sorts.

I bought a little gift for a scrapping friend with a mini bottle of Baileys and some choccies in purely because of the cute little tin it was in!

As for asking for the tins back .... well I would but only if it was my parents or in-laws!

I'm not proud -- I'd ask anyone! Even if I saw them them opening pressies like these from someone else!!!!

Actually not ventured into this myself yet, but have regularly asked for tins and boxes at work when people bring in birthday 'goodies' to share. In the past they've made great storage for the kids crayons and such like

I also bought DH a new wallet for Christmas and just had to choose the one that came in the tin (well it was the same price as those that just came in boxes so it wasn't a difficult decision really!)

I just bought 4 tins from Au Natural - a round one and 3 square ones, they are actually coffee tins but I'm going to use them instead of paint cans for christmas presents - they are only £1 each.

I've just seen in Aldi's today a big tin full of Amaretto biscuits - it was only £3.99, and the tin was a nice size.
