    Help with cursive text please!

I have decided to have a play with joined up writing! (I've had the CR since May and only just decided to play with joined up!! )
I've downloaded Bev's wonderful tutorial, also downloaded wintopo, I've managed to create an image and open it in wintopo, followed all the steps fine up until One touch vectorise options, it will let me set it to 30 and 30 and change the rastor thinning to use processed image. On the box it shows my image with green lines over it but when I click OK it just leaves it black, no green lines! (If I just click One touch vectoriation it does turn green! but I don't think those settings are correct!) Anyway, I can then unclick rastor image and I am left with the green edge but when i go to save it a DXF file is not one of the save options, only BMP, TIF and PNG are available!!
Please can anyone help, i'd love to be able to do this, i've tried too follow it to the letter but i'm struggling now!!
    Thank you!
    Hugs Karen x

you have to set the settings, and then tell it to vectorise - once you have set them you can press the one touch button and it will remember hte settings that you have set.

when you save it, don't save image, save vector it's further down the list.

to be honest, the open office method is easier for cursive.

I cut some Scriptina last night, following Bevs tutorial, it was easier than I thought it would be. Brilliant, I'm well impressed. Thanks Bev.

    Hi there..

I must admit I find the open office way easier.. but it is time consuming..

    Although the outcome is fantastic..

    Hope you get sorted..
