    Downloading Templates

I've been looking round the 'net and found some templates (links from this site somewhere) I'd like to download. How do I do it?

If I save as jpeg, CR won't open them. I don't seem to have (or can't find) the option to save as DXF. So, what do I save them as so I'm able to open in CR.

I don't have Illustrator, but I do have Photoshop CS although you can't download and save a file in PSD format either.

Can anybody help or am I completely losing the plot here. Do I have to have Illustrator and then convert like Lucille does.

Thanks in advance (I hope, lol).

One other thing. Scriptina Font. I have this and use it in Word, but it won't open in CR. In CR I have Scriptina Alternate, which is no good. Any ideas on this aswell?

Ooh I don't have Scriptina in the CR either - but I wouldn't have thought it would cut well anyway because it's a joined up font and you have to do something with joined up words before cutting them. It has to be a .gsd to cut - the Robo can convert .dxf so whatever other format you have you have to be able to convert it to .dxf . I've only managed to trace outlines so far; normal jpgs would be beyond me.

    hi

    hi
when i find a template i save it to jpeg...[pictures].
i then open wintopo a free download i got here from one of the kind ladies.
in wintopo you can open the image and trace it THEN save[save vector as]and put it into your craft robo file...or a file where you can find it.
then go to your c.robo you can open the image and cut it.
i hope it helps you out...it worked for me.good luck

Thanks, Angela. I have wintopo but haven't used it yet. I knew there was a way, lol, I just couldn't remember what I'd read. Thanks again.
