Matting and Layering Photos
What's the best way to Matt and Layer? How do you measure the right increase from the photo. I know this is a basic question, but mine always look really off...mainly in card making but the same princliple applies to scrapping.
Thanks!

Handbag, shoe and choco - holic!
Measuring, hmm, measuring - nope - don't know that concept.....
The advice I got from my UKS adoptive mother (get adopted - very useful!) was to stick the photo onto the mat, then cut round that.

Thanks Kihaku...that seems the most obvious way to do it....but I never thought of that...lol...I was busy trying to measure about .5 cm bigger than a photo and wondering why it kept going wonky!

if you have a zissiont here is an evene asier way - i'll try to take some photos tonight and explain... basically matt your photos, make sure the edge fo the photo is level with the clear part of the ruler, that gives abotu 2 to 3 mm tot he cutting line and cut - then turn and repeat - making sure the photo is levelw itht eh dge.. thats how i do all mine

Hi Kihaku,
I've only got a little basic paper trimmer which mainly messes up my paper when I try to cut it!!
I appreciate you taking the time to help me!

More BooHoo than Boho x
I am a bit evil. Alot of the time i don't even mat mine!! I just stick them to the edges of the paper so i can get lots of photos on a page... sometimes i even just forget, then i wished i had matted them.
That's not at all helpful to you is it? x
