I rescued Ginger's sense of humour
Quick cuts - what do I 'need'?
O.K. I have finally been converted and decided to buy a QK tool (thanks Ginger & Wanna-scrap) What do I "need" to get? What do you recommend? I have the pink tool on order with an alphabet included but I'm sure there are other things I "need".
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Flowers, buttons and tags. The buttons with diamond glaze on them are so useful.

Hmmm, you'll 'need' the pink hand thingy (I'm rubbish with the technical names of stuff!) that gives you a wider pushing surface. Oh, and the christmas gift sets have a pink binder and special edition dies. That's a definate NEED.
I'm going to be selling my Ginger and mini indigo alphabets, along with the collection of dies that I've got so PM me if you're interested

Inky Wench!!!
Try one of the BIG alphas too- great for titles- the one that comes with Pinky is iddy biddy (cute though!) maybe Abigail or Studio or one of the older ones like Paige???
Basic shapes like the tags, mosaic squares and the garden ones, daisies leaves etc get tons of use!!!
Pinky is a revelation (so easy to use!!).....Bluey QK is now packed away in his box

Depends on your style, and whether you also make cards.
If you make journals, or like little flaps etc in your scrapbook, the Tab Die set is fab. Lots of the flowers are cute too. I like the flower in the Flower Die Set that you can thread ribbon through.
As for alphas, look at the type of layouts you do. Do you need/want a full-size alpha? Sometimes Minis are more useful. Paige has definitely been our best-seller, followed by Ginger. I think Abigail is likely to take the place of Paige for new users, as it's packed in the new, more economical format. Although plainish alphabets are versatile, lots of people pass on those, in order to buy one in a style they'd never bother to hand-cut.
Have fun choosing!
