    Which book?

Trying to come up with a Wish List for Santa & fancy a book but there are sooo many of them out there & to be honest I know some of them are a bit naff!

SO if you were allowed only allowed 1 book on scrapping which would it be & why?

(& maybe more importantly are there any you would avoid!)

I fancy the book of me cant remember who its by £9.99 flicked through it and thought it looked ok. I like magazines best to keep updated looked at some from last year and they looked very dated you could have a subscription if you don't already

On my list is the Heidi Swapp "love your handwriting" book which is of course great but might be a bit "specific" as to style (ie if you don't intend to ever use your handwriting, well then probably not the book for you).

I do love the Creative Companion, I use it lots, it's full of good ideas and very easy to use. I have also the Encyclopedia and the Clean and simple book but use the companion most.

See - there's a book for everyone! I guess it depends on what you like...

Another vote for Heidi Swapp's Love your handwriting and the Designing with calendar
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Hello Princess Lily. Are you looking for a book to inspire you or a book to help with technique? It would be difficult to recommend a book that could do both, but perhaps we'll be pleasantly surprised. I have these and can recommend them:

For inspiration: 'Designing with Stamping' (Autumn Leaves), 'Scrapbooks Etc. Inspirations', 'Scrapbooking 30 Minute Pages' (Creating Keepsakes)

For technique: 'A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking' (Ali Edwards), 'Scrapbooks Etc. Techniques', 'Mastering Scrapbook Page Design' (Michele Gerbrandt for Memory Makers). I also have the 'Encyclopedia for Scrapbooking' (Creative Keepsakes) but just got it and honestly haven't used it, though it looks very, very good.

Hope those help. So many good books, so little time to read!!!!
