Help please! Any advice on how to....

clean the little balls in the dovecraft chalk tins. I got some the other day, and i've been chalking away like crazy, but now the chalks balls for the tool are full of chalk and dont work as well. I noticed on the back of the tin it says the balls are reusable, but how do you clean them. Any advise greatly appreciated. thank you

I just use standard cotton wall for applying chalks -- my applicators are still as new!

Pop them in a little net bag for hosiery (Asda used to sell them) nice small size so they don't get lost in the washing machine or wash them by hand - or alternatively use any sized laundry net bag.

Hobbycraft sell bags of about 50 or so for less than a pound as replacements. I got some and they work just fine.
