So glad to know this is helpful!

Regarding using the Sizzix for flattening...let me know how you get on a maybe post a few pics of how they look? I don't have a Sizzix but have been thinking about getting one because of the yummy die cuts. Flattening used bottle caps would be a plus!

I have been wondering how to flatten them for ages, have discovered than in window wordart you can print circles and actually put your own colours and words on them so will give this a try after flattening them, will stick on the new circles.

I placed it crinkly side down on an old cutting mat, had to use the convertor and just very gentle pressure and it was flattened.

It wasn't a used one but I'll ask ds to bring me a supply and have a try with those.

i had some used ones from last night so i went and took the sizzix out. I first had to bend the sides a bit or else it would not fit under the convertor, but when that was done it was sooo simple with the sizzix and i loved the effect! So form now on my dh has to save all the bottlecaps :p (by the way i also used a old cutting mat and i had the crinklu side up or else is would stay in the cutting mat )

os. you just have to love your sizzix! I am so glad with mine and each day i learn more stuff i can use it for.

finally got around to flattening used bottle caps using the spoon and mallet method and I really like them - looks like DH will be getting more beer in bottles than cans for while... until I have enough stash of them!
