What's on your desk this week?

My desk is full of a class I am taking called Journal Petite. It's an art journalng class but working on a very small scale. I need something to loosen me up and get me back into messy play now I am THREE ROWS from finishing up my blanket. Yippee!

I've done a few lessons so far, paint swiping, collage, mark-making and watercolour washes. Nothing I haven't done before but the class structure focuses me And the class was only like £8 when I bought it (been a minute...) so

Also cutting more circles for my companion deli-paper curtain...

I am happy for people to carry on sharing even not at all scrapbook related things for these posts. I think it is really interesting to see what everyone is dong in their crafty space no matter what it might be! And seeing a follow up to a past posted project will also be fun.

    So share, please!

The art journaling looks very interesting MA.

I’ve been card making. I did a one sheet wonder and made 7 cards out of one sheet. I am also getting ready for my art class later so my easel is on my desk. I’ll have to leave tidying up until later as I won’t have time this morning. I also painted this little canvas earlier in the week which was something completely different for me.

The art journal looks very interesting, MaryAnne.
That's clever Elaine, to get so many cards from 1 sheet of paper. I'm still admiring your painting

I have an almost-done LO for one of the challenges - just need to cut the title. Also, there are bits I have cut on my Cricut for a 40th anniversary card, which just needs assembled.

Very neat and organised Margo. Will you get them done before you go away?

Elaine, I have to finish the card - and another 2! - before I go. The LO needs so little that there is no excuse not to finish it. And ideally I need to do another one too - I really didn't plan this well!!

I like the idea of One Sheet Wonders but by the end of it I am usually sick of that paper LOL! I do like your little canvas a lot.

Margo, I am sure I have the label in my stash.... If someone took a snapshot of each craft room, how many same items could they find? I wonder

Up to Salisbury for two drs appointment, Franklin's for the one ball of yarn I need for the last three puffs of my blanket, then watching more of the little lessons for me today. Is everyone hiding from the heat and not crafting??

My desk is bereft this week. We were meant to be on holiday and so we have been going out every day instead plus any scrapping I am squeezing in is digital like this one literally just finished

What a beautiful LO Karen, I love the colours and all the stunning photo's.

Love those cards Elaine, please tell me you didn't fussy cut those flowers! The canvas is just gorgeous, I love the colours in the sky and the way they blend.

Looking forward to seeing your LO Margo, it is all hidden away, you're teasing us. Where are you off to?

I have been clearing and cleaning my craft room, so one of my desks is almost empty. We've used every room as a dumping ground for the things that came out of our bedroom.

I will take a photo and I'm still searching for my small camera, it is so much better than my phone for photo's. I know you all take amazing photo's with your phones but for distance I find there is no comparison. Off to garden before I change my mind.

Yes I did fussy cut them Susie. I then layered them on some Gold card and fussy cut each of them again. Lol! I love fussy cutting.
    Very pretty layout Karen.

Don't take desk tooooo literally . We will accept:
    floor
    counter
    dining room table
    bed
    lawn
    ...

I just finished my blanket last night and it would be rude not to share, right? It's on the guest room bed, US king size (so bigger than UK Super King) for context!

That blanket is fab, and I love your art journal painting.
Elaine, love the cards. Think I need to do a batch like that so I have some in hand
Margo, the LO turned out great.
Cris, we will always love seeing cake !
Karen that is a beautiful LO. I couldn’t get the hang of digi.

My ‘desk’ is the garden at the moment, I’ll see if I can get a picture of something interesting ……

I do love digi and always have it was how I started out crafting.

Beautiful blanket MaryAnne, such pretty colours and a great shape too.

Well done with the fussy cutting Elaine, love the idea of the gold edging too. I hate fussy cutting, the doing not the end result.

Meant to say MaryAnne, I am dying to have a go at mixed media but it terrifies me and I am so messy, lots of interesting techniques there.

Where's the cake Cris? Mind you, once I see it I'll be fancying cake next.
