Here is a great trick for unmounted stamps....

...or ones that have lost their sticky. I really hate taking the time and going to the expense of mounts unmounted stamps (red or grey rubber) I have some stamps that, no matter what I do, I cannot revive the stick. Drives me crazy. A little while back I discovered a trick that works well.

I used to us a product called Stick It! (over and over) but it was messy and def not Grab & Go. Now I use something called NANO TAPE. It is double sided sticky but here is the thing. You can peel it off, wash it, and reuse it! I HAVE done it, and it does work, but you don't need to do that for this. What I did was covered a couple of older stamp mounts with the tape. then the stamps, both unmounted red rubber and clear cling that have lost their stick work perfectly well.

    Hard to see, I know.

I have a lot of red rubber that I want to be able to curve and stamp with for art jounaling, where having a solid firm mount is actually a disadvantage. So this solution works very well for me. But it also means you really need only a couple of mounts covered with the tape (I have two - about a 3 x3 inch one and a larger maybe 4x6 one and that fits 80% of my stamps) and you can store unmounted stamps in a lot smaller space than wooden ones. This works great even for all my cling mount Tim Holtz ones that have zero stick left.

I store the covered mounts i a zip lock bag and while the bag clings to the nano tape it is easy to peel it off.

Just thought it might be of interest...

For what it is worth, I had originally thought that I needed full coverage to provide full contact with the stamp and get a clean image. I really didn't.
