Miss Katy, glad you came back and hope you will find a happy home here.
The whole POINTS thing has been evolving and I am really sorry if it has been confusing. We really wanted to move away from the community being split up into teams, so are refocusing on individual points for those who find the competition aspect gets them scrapping.
I will echo what Dolly says - you can chat anywhere. I have tried to consolidate the forums but I am very open to suggestions if people prefer even fewer. Lots of very specific forums made sense when things moved FAST. Now we operate at a more leisurely pace maybe we could look at something more like the old 2 Peas set up - we have the GENERAL SCRAPING forum for all things scrapbook related. We could move all the COMMUNITY stuff into what would be like NSBR (Not Scrapbook Related) and maybe sort out a better arrangement for the Challenges.
Inspiration and Challenges
Sub-Forums:
Challenge me? Challenge YOU!,
UKS Fortnightly & Monthly Challenges,
Looking for a new Team member?,
Beat the Christmas Rush,
Monthly quote challenge,
Dolly’s Dastardly Dares,
Shape challenge,
Twisted Scraplift,
Snap! Challenge,
Off the Page,
Chain-Link Scraplift Challenge,
Monthly Colour Challenge,
Sketch Challenge,
Friday 5,
ABC Challenge,
Older Classes,
Challenges & CyberCrops,
Swaps & Circle Journals
Do people use these all regularly? Is the arrangement still usable?
If people feel there is a clutter of sub-forums and we don't need them all, I am listening. Speak up. There are no bad ideas, but I can't guarantee all will be put in effect . I can guarantee I will consider all suggestions.
I will have a chat with ScrapDolly and MiniOwner about some ideas I have been mulling over and we wiil see what comes of that.

MaryAnne all of the sub forums in inspiration and challenges are in regular use each month with current challenges except
Looking for a new Team member?, THIS COULD GO ENTIRELY
Shape challenge could go as the person setting it has left
These three could maybe be archived somewhere
Older Classes,
Challenges & CyberCrops,
Swaps & Circle Journals

Personally I would like to see a simplified home page. I feel it is better to have a few threads/ forums which appear to move regularly that a lot with posts that haven't moved for months or longer. I like the Two Peas Refugees board set up- a section for Welcome and Support and one for General(which splits into sub groups for NSBR, Scrapping (Including scrapping chat and Challenges), Photography (which could be our Robo/cutting group) and Recipes which could be our Cardmaking. The result is a nice compact page.

just don't call me The Boss
I have to be pretty hands off on the Craft Robo forum as that is paid for by Graphtec - I don't want to mess about with it too much . But the other changes seem reasonable. I will take a little time to critically look at things thenpost so everyone knows what's up.
Keep adding your comments. Happy to consider changes other than these if they are possiible.

I regularly check out all the challenges too but I wonder if we need 3 chain links on the go.
I too am happy with whatever you come up with as long as I can find the challenges.

I think you are possibly right about three chain links

Yes the chain link and ABC don’t get as many visits as they used to.
Maybe we could start a fresh chain link ?

Paper addict extraordinaire
I don't think the card forum really needs all its subforums any more - they could possibly be archived in one Archive subforum under the main card forum going forward.
I think it would work fine with both of the current card challenges, and any future challenges, being posted in the main card forum and simply unpinning the monthly threads as they are completed.
The "I made this thread" (in the main card forum) is the perfect way to share (externally hosted) images of card projects, and that is still pretty active.
Any other aspects of cardmaking can have a new thread started in the main forum as and when necessary, and that will hopefully make that forum more streamlined and keep the active threads together.

Thanks Nat. I will go along with that and let you manage things by unpinning threads if you are happy to do that. I need to look at the forum structure to see what is possible and if there is an issue I'll let you know!

When everything changed last I found it hard at first to find the snap challenge and for some reason can only ever find one or the other of the card challenges. I don't know if it's just me but I have to search for the card challenges especially Nat's although lately that's been easier to find, not sure why. If they could be kept close together it would be a great help. So condensing it as Nat suggested sounds like a great idea to me. I don't know why we'd need to keep so many photo's of cards or anything really because we all have to take photo's to post them in the first place so we all should have a record of that piece of work. So basically, what is kept and what isn't I am easy with. If it's for newbies benefit or for other people to browse through for ideas then great. As kids say these days "Whatev"
