have this problem?
When I trace a picture to separate it from it's background, if I then zoom out to do something else the picture goes black or has a pattern that i've used elsewhere in the project I'm working on?
When I zoom back in it goes back to normal.
It keeps it's shape, for example I did this with a drawing of an ice cream cone and it went black when I zoomed out.

That has not happened to me Bobble.

Yesterday though a scanned in black die cut I trace the edge for a backing mat but that no longer has the die cut picture, instead a black & white striped rectangle. Not tried zooming in yet, but will try later.
