Hard to believe our lovely Denise has been gone almost a year. It was the 4th Feb that she sent the video of the donkeys arriving at the sanctuary and the relief was huge. I remember telling her not to stay on chatting as she must be tiring herself but hadn't a clue that a day or so later she'd be gone. Still sadly missed.x Thanks for sharing that with us Elaine.

I've had a few really rough days after going out to Curry's on Wednesday, as you may remember they sent the wrong washing machine and we stood around for almost an hour and a half trying to sort things out. In the end, I felt like I was going to pass out, talk about beating your head against a brick wall, customer service is dreadful. Anyway, this made me smile, it was just how I felt.

Likewise… things can only get better Susie.
My new sofa arrived yesterday! It is the right colour and fitted through the door.. which is a first for Furniture Village! Next pictures and curtains….

You know I love that suite and room Elaine, especially that panelling, so what I want to know is... are the dogs allowed on that sofa?

Unfortunately, out again tomorrow, could have done with another day or two but it's the hospital to get the results of the lump in my arm. Something happened to the lump since I had the scan as I woke up one night with terrible pain in the lump. Anyway, shall chat about that tomorrow. then hubby is going to get some varifocals which will make my life easier as he's always asking me to read things for him because he can't be bothered changing glasses.

Oh that’s worrying about the lump. I hope you get some satisfaction tomorrow.
No! They are not even allowed in the room let alone on the sofa. Lol
We have been out looking for curtains today but didn’t see anything so we need to go further afield which is challenging as DH is still not keen on going out much… certainly not shopping! We can’t really do it online as we need to colour match.

We had that room in cream Elaine. I remember not long after we got the boys my sister was staying and we were outside at the front of the house. She said to me "Are the boys allowed in the front room?" When I turned to look to my horror I saw the two dogs in the front room standing with front paws on the windowsill side by side. I wish I'd had a camera, they looked so comical. After that, the baby gate went on to keep the air flowing and the dogs out of the room. I mean, they had the so-called family room, how many rooms do dogs need!

You really have to be there and even then check the fabric in daylight not shop lights. What colour curtains are you after? We are the same as your DH especially as the masks are being removed again, why can't he leave the masks in place at the very least, it's not a hardship to wear them.

Room looks fab … beautiful brave colour choices.
We have two rooms the cats aren’t allowed in and also have gates at the doors. One is my studio which they can come in providing I’m not painting.

Susie I hope the news at the hospital is good x

I'm posting this photo of 2 deer, as they were quite far away and therefore looked tiny. This was the best I could get after zooming in as much as possible.

    Deer.JPG

This house on the other side of Loch Katrine: the 'm'anicured, 'm'own lawn contrasts with the rugged hills behind, and again, it's far away so looks tiny.

Good luck with the results tomorrow, Susie.
Elaine, yes, you need to see curtains in the flesh (so to speak), as you need to check the fabric and the hang, as well as the colour.
