January
Welcome to 2022 everyone and let’s hope it is a good one for all of us and for those we love.
This month the dare focuses on a new year.
If you are like me you can’t wait to get the Christmas decorations down and have a jolly good clean – so this month you page needs to be clean – lots of white space which of course can be any colour at all.
It is a time for resolutions – although I tend not to make them – so the theme must include some sort of resolution or hope either in theme, quote, journaling or any other way you can include it
January is often cold so I want the colours to be predominantly cool blues. You can add other colours but cool blues need to be the focus
If it cold we may get snow and snowflakes are hexagonal so I need you to include either snowflakes or hexagons – at least 2 but as many as you fancy after those two
It’s a whole new year so I want you to use something new. It needs to be something less than a year old and you need to state what it is
Finally, because I am me and I like it and feel it is very important, your handwriting needs to appear somewhere on your page. If you are uncomfortable it can just be a date, if you are happier it could be the journaling.
So to summarise
- · Clean and simple with white space
- · Include resolutions or hopes
- · Cool blues
- · Snowflakes/hexagons
- · Something new
- · Handwriting
Go on – I dare you!
Have fun and happy scrapping and remember the scrapping community is such a great community and we all share our inspirational pages with others and love being inspired by others in the wider scrapping community. Please can you make sure that if your page is created using a sketch, a scraplift or a class from others that you credit them when you upload your pages. Please also mention, if you upload elsewhere, that you created your work for a UKS challenge - it might drive even more people to play here.
