    32 bit or 64 bit

Just popped in to see how we all are, and what we've been up to.
I noticed a post about updates and recognising scanners etc, I probably could do with an update.
How do I know whether to go for 32 or 64 bit?
    I'm using windows 10

Hi Maureen it does depend upon your computer. I find the 64 bit runs faster on my H.P. computer with windows 10. With the problem of Studio not recognising the scanner part of of my Canon printer I tried the 32 bit version but it was so much slower when I was using the sketch pen fill to foil with my Foil Quill.

Thank you I have downloaded the 64 bit option. never had the choice before thats what confused me. Not that it doesn't take much to confuse me these days!
I dont update each time, because as someone pointed out most doesn't apply to me, I have a portrait.

If you open the control panel and click system it should tell you whether it's 32 or 64 bit......see below. Yours may look slightly different because I'm using Windows 11

Thank you, I have updated using 64bit, as someone said the updates do include other stuff.
I was particularly interested in the canon printer info.
Dont seem to be doing much lately and yet have so much time to do it in

Maureen I have lots to do and no energy to do it. Also when I do start crafting something always goes wrong and it is either start again or give up.
