I hope it isn't going to be that bad Margo but you do have a point. It is a laminate and so far I love it, so clean and bright. Before it was a bedroom in a soft peach/apricot and even that made it dark, then we put the pine loft bed in and it took so much light out of the room. Every unit was quite dark so this is my attempt to bring as much light in as I can. It worked in our kitchen and when the units and desktop are in I'll probably need sunglasses to go in this room.

I've taken on board your advice about a glass top for the desk which Ikea also sell Elaine.

Love the chair Sheila, you’ll enjoy sitting there in the summer admiring your lovely garden full of flowers

Susie, the room is looking great, love the flooring. I expect your room will be on a par with Elaine’s and Karen’s when it’s done, with all the planning that’s gone into it
I bet you can’t wait to get in there and actually use it.
My room is slowly getting organised but now you’re making me think I need to brighten it up a bit !
I do have a clear and almost organised desk now, just need to decide what I want to keep close to hand on it.

Love the mosaic Alison, he must be very patient. I've been trying to sort my craft room out - spent most of the last 2 days in there, but I have got too much stuff and don't know how to sort it. At least I can get into the room now, which I couldn't before. I've always bought stuff out into the living room to do the crafting, but I want to make the craft room a usable space rather than just for storage, so I can keep my lounge tidy, wish me luck. I will take some pics of the cards shortly Margo.

he will sit for hours with his lego, and is currently training lara up to do the same, she loves to follow an instruction just like him

I do the same Sheila, i bring stuff out into the lounge to work on in the evenings, but then it is hurriedly cleared away and just dumped back in my craft room when we need the table again ! i really want to keep my desk clear and organised so I can just transfer easily from one place to the other
Look forward to seeing your cards, I havent done any card making recently !

Alison, I've been getting a lot of orders for cards so will take some pics of them. I'm really enjoying making them, I seem to be on a roll.

    Lovely card Sheila.
Wow Alison he must have the patience of a saint!
I couldnít scrap on my table as DH is such a tidy person it would drive him mad. I would have to bring too much downstairs to do it successfully too. Iíve completely lost my crafty drive recently but Iím organising my 12 hour crop on Saturday so I hope it comes back so I can catch up with some challenges!

Fabulous Lego Alison, that does take some patience. My room will not be on a par with either Elaine's or Karen's I'm afraid but if it is clean, tidy, bright and most of all more organised, I'll be one happy bunny.

Crafting on a table would be out of the question here, one swish of the dog's tail and it would be gone and failing that, next door's cat is constantly in sitting on our dining table where I've put loads of stuff, so muddy paw marks everywhere. I've put lots of boxes and bags in the house next door cosy hiding places but what he wants most is company and who can blame him.

What a pretty card Sheila, the hedgehog in the teacup is such a sweet design.
