    Fab photos, Ellie and Elaine.
Ellie, that's a great room and a beautiful calm seascape.
Elaine, great LD photos. I hope you are getting well looked after and a bit pampered.
Karen, I'll bet those parallel lines were looking anything but parallel by the time you were finished!

Yes Karen, I thought it was really sweet of him. The thing with your garden is you've adapted it to your lifestyle. Normally you'd be off on your travels so it's no good having a garden that needs lots of tending unless you have someone there to do it whilst you're away. Nothing worse than coming back to see all the plants at death's door. As long as your happy with it that's all that counts. It sounds neat, tidy and cared for with some lovely statement plants and of course that wonderful stag. Also, you have to plan for the future when you can't do all the bending and digging that's required so it's always good to have shrubs that don't need too much attention but give a lovely splash of colour.

I know how you feel Maria. I love gardening but I can never get on top of it, I’d have to be out there full time ! I embrace the wild/unkept look

Had a lovely 'luxury' morning as went to Southampton and I visited my favourite store - Apple - and ordered a new phone and Nigel visited his spiritual home - Hotel Chocolat (he is such a chocoholic)
lots of parallel lines in each

Great photo's Elaine, thank DH for pointing out those rocks we might not have noticed them. The hotel entrance looks lovely. I hope you're getting lots of painting done.

I used to love going to the Apple store Karen. When I first got my Mac I used to have the lessons, there was so much to learn and such a change from a pc and a friend of mine who is amazingly clever told me he couldn't get on with his Mac so I worried that if he couldn't with his brain how would I manage. Of course, he did get used to it but I enjoyed going in for an hour whilst hubby would have a wander round town and then we'd meet up and have a coffee before heading home. We used to go to Thornton's for the coffee, not sure what the attraction was. He's like Nigel, his favourite shop would be anywhere that sells chocolate, the darker the better. On match day he always has a chocolate bar to hand when watching the match. Hope you both treated yourselves. You'd have to buy a lot of chocolate to price match a phone.

We've been out today for eye tests, hubby has to have a cataract removed as it is quite quick growing apparently. The optician I saw thinks he's found another bleed so back to St. Paul's for me.

Not sure if I mentioned I bought a drop leaf table to use as a desk and extra workspace. I will have it against a wall and use one leaf when I need extra work space. Anyway, it arrived today, so we're putting it together tomorrow and after the floor is done Tuesday we can start putting the units in and see what else I need in the way of Kallax units and Alex drawers.

Lovely pics Elaine, it’s a while since we’ve been over that way, it’s beautiful isn’t it.
Sorry so many of you are having eye issues, something I would dread too.
Karen, I’m with Nigel too, love hotel chocolat, used to be Thornton’s but as our tastes have matured we’ve progressed to hotel chocolat

Here’s a parallel lines from me, a screenshot not a photo. I had this album back in the day…

Great photo Alison, what a blast from the past.

We managed to put the table together this afternoon and it has parallel lines but I thought I'd show you either way. Very handy to just drop one leaf out of the way but lots of space when needed. It has two shelves for a bit of storage too. I am absolutely delighted with it because it won't impose on my space unless I want to use it.
