Exclamation 2021 card challenge - October

    Evening all!

Posting this early as I won't be around in the morning.

So, the heating finally went on today which heralds in the change of the season for me and of course the prompt this month goes full on autumn!

However, there's more to this image than meets the eye. It's not just pumpkins and Halloween this month... there's scope for winter and Christmas, but also any occasion because...

The focus colour for October is: Kraft (one of the best neutral shades for any colour combo! )

    The Pin-spiration is....
    10 - October pinspiration.jpg

I look forward to seeing how you interpret it - remember I've listed a few tips over on the blog post for this month.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Past prompts will all be tagged under 2021 card challenge on my blog so you can find them easily in one place.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2021handmadecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

    Points for this challenge:
This challenge scores you 20 points. As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.
But remember you can also claim points for up to 10 cards you make in any month.

So all that remains for me to say is: Happy crafting!

Well, I'm not a lover of kraft card at all but despite it I have bought some lately so if I get back in my craft room I may well join in.

Yep, kraft = gingerbread in my book! I'm sure you'll find a use for your new stash of it Susie.

It also looks great with white heat embossing on it - especially detailed background stamps.

I used a craft card for the card itself and added a design on top .. cheating a little perhaps, but I think it works....

    Lovely autumnal cards Frances.

Here's my take using kraft as the backdrop to a curio-style layout with lots of little autumnal features:
