Good idea Carmen. I also use Hermes and for a small bit extra they will collect.
I stopped using Royal Mail for parcels years ago and with both couriers you can track your parcel save your pennies Virginia xxxx

How do you weigh your parcels when you use a courier service? I don’t have scales, only bathroom ones. That is the reason I have never used them before.

Barbara, I used the kitchen scales for smaller stuff and for this swap I used the bathroom scales and it was fine. Otherwise you can take it to the post office to get an estimate of postage and they will tell you the weight then.

I used Hermes too and collect plus. They do collect but I'm lucky the drop off point is only 5 minutes away from me, around the corner from the supermarket.

I arrived home yesterday to find a large parcel inside my bin store, "next to the green bin" as the card through the door said. Its my stocking .. Yipee!! Not looking at anything, even the card, until the BIG DAY, but thank you sender.

My lot are half wrapped and I have to finish making the stocking, then its all ready .. this week is hectic so early next week.

Similar to us Gill. Ours go up in a week or two. We are going to the local torchlight parade on Sunday and the kids will get to see some reindeer so hopefully that will get me a bit more in the spirit - they've been there for weeks! If I get called the Grinch one more time I may just live up to the name!
