Thumbs up Adding a bit of gloss to a card

    Hi peeps,

I want to save a bit of cash by trying to convert regular card to glossy (well just the front of the card).

I've heard glossy modpodge can do it but it also makes things sticky?

Also heard hairspray can work but there is surpisingly little stuff I can find out about this on youtube.

    Thanks!

Sorry..I wish I could help but I don’t know of anything. I’m thinking that maybe buying the Mod Podge to make it glossy would cost as much if not more than buying shiny card?
You could try the inexpensive PVA (aka school glue)? This leaves a shiny residue and does dry unsticky BUT if is got wet it livens up again as it may leave brush marks.

Good morning - I don't know much about this either - but would it be worth trying the clear sticky backed plastic that you can get on a roll from the shop where most things are the same price? You know, about £1!!
