Exclamation 2021 card challenge - July

Well, at last here is the post for this month's prompt.

Lots of scope for different techniques, but also thinking outside of the box with some of the elements you see.

The focus colour for July is: Yellow

    The Pin-spiration is....

    07 - July pinspiration.jpg

I look forward to seeing how you interpret it - remember I've listed a few tips over on the blog post for this month.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Past prompts will all be tagged under 2021 card challenge on my blog so you can find them easily in one place.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2021handmadecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

    Points for this challenge:
This challenge scores you 20 points. As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.
But remember you can also claim points for up to 10 cards you make in any month.

So all that remains for me to say is: Happy crafting!

Fabulous colours Nat, love the mix of yellow, blues and greens. I hope I can make something this month away from the boring norm.

I should manage that! Unfortunately the blokey card I have to do is for my brother who hates football, so I may make one for the future (our team play in yellow and green)
    Here we are- totally non football related;

Thank you Nat.. Here’s one from me.
I’ve used yellow and butterfly. The sentiment says Thinking of you, but you can’t see
    It for the reflection.

Here are my offerings for the prompt from a recent card assembly session.

They all feature yellow inked backgrounds that incorporate painterly effects, some with a splatter stamp, there are a few nods to the colour combos in the prompt image, the sentiment is a typewriter font, and the pot plant has been interpreted as a bouquet in a mason jar.

Here are mine. I used a retired stamp from Stampin Up and coloured it with watercolour paint then added the sentiments.
