Exclamation 2021 card challenge - June

    Good morning!

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the sunshine while it's here.

For this month's prompt anyone who loves a bit of gold or a fancy frame is going to be happy.

The focus colour for June is: Aqua

    The Pin-spiration is....

    06 - June pinspiration.jpg

I look forward to seeing how you interpret it - remember I've listed a few tips over on the blog post for this month.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Past prompts will all be tagged under 2021 card challenge on my blog so you can find them easily in one place.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2021handmadecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

    Points for this challenge:
This challenge scores you 20 points. As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.
But remember you can also claim points for up to 10 cards you make in any month.

So all that remains for me to say is: Happy crafting!

Hope you all enjoy this month's prompt. I'm hoping I'll get back to my craft desk at some point and be inspired to play with the "new" stash I bought before May hit.
I don't know where the weeks have gone to, but May included an awful summer cold, my first Covid jab (yay!), a fair bit of work catch-up after recovering from the two, and happily, right at the end of May, my new nephew finally arrived safely into the world.
It has been a bit of a whirlwind with one thing and another.
But hopefully the ideas I have whirring around in my head for this prompt will actually make it onto a card this time.

    Thanks Elaine!

Yes, here's hoping that between us we manage to get some cards made in June... 2021 has definitely not been a productive year for me so far. Ooops.

Ah well, it will be like Christmas morning when I finally delve into my new supplies properly.

That sounds like fun Nat and many congratulations on your new nephew! Can we know his name please?

I started off well with the blush last month and it never became an actual card. The elements were all there and it still isn't a card. Let's hope I fair better this month but I wouldn't hold your breath.

    Thanks Susie, he's called Henry.

Yep, I'm hoping to still catch up with a card for May while doing a June card. It's not a race I keep telling myself, but it will be nice to play with those colours as I do love them.

We have a little Henry by us but it's coming up to his 1st birthday so I need a card for that.

    Beautiful card Elaine.

I love that stamp Maria, so pretty. I can't make out the embossing but I bet it looks great. Is verdigris just the colour you've used. Lovely colour whatever it is.

Great colour and I still love the magic of heat embossing, it never fails to mesmerise. Even hubby loves watching it change, that and he loves shrink plastic too.
