Susie both of my boys were like it two weeks ago. Eating, purring, playing but rotten diarrhoea and Indy as you know has had intermitent problems. They have Nurtaflora ... a cat probiotic every day. I am sure I DT has IBS like I do and I take a probiotic every day and it helps.

We have just today started to try him on chicken as he’s been stable for two weeks

I obviously used the wrong site to order from ... it was a site just called celartris

I think you'll find it still is Life's Natural Cures Karen, was there a couple having fun on a bike? I remember you saying about the diarrhoea and someone else said their cat has had it too so perhaps a bug doing the rounds. He's on chicken and we'll collect the antibiotics tomorrow and he can have some of the Prokolin too. That will help boost the good bacteria that the antibiotics will wipe out.

Yes Karen, they are one and the same company. I used my tens machine on my knee last night and it seems a bit better this morning. Fingers crossed.
I have a WI committee meeting later here so I do hope the weather holds!

    Morning.
    It’s dull here today.
I have another hospital appointment today, so might not
get on here for a couple of days.

    Hope everyone’s animals are ok.
Bruce came to see us yesterday, and he had just found his sharp teeth.
He gave me a nip on the hand , which bled, but it’s ok.
He’s getting to be a big boy. His mom and dad had been to Edinburgh for a few days,
and they came back all excited, because he had proposed to her.
We are invited to their celebration BBQ next week
    Ellie

Oh an engagement Ellie, how lovely. That's the problem with big puppies a nip even if done playfully can hurt. Have you had your tetanus done recently? What was he doing before he nipped, was he just playing because they need to nip that in the bud. Pun intended.

We have learnt to listen our old guy's woofs now. If he suddenly sits up and woofs, it means he wants something usually to go out. We are having to learn a whole new set of rules with him. We have to give him his food treat with a flat palm because he lunges and grabs hold of it with his teeth. Now he has always been the most gentle of dogs when giving treats, gently takes it from your fingers, no nipping but we have to remember that he can't see now, so can't see what he's doing. He smells food and goes for it so with that in mind flat palm is the way to go. The other one who was always a bit rough has gone the other way and now is so gentle. We think he grabbed because they were malnourished when we got them and food was and still is everything to them. Now he knows he never goes without and will take food from your fingers without touching them. It's a constant learning curve really.

More house clearance today. No point putting the plants out as no sooner does the sun come out than the rains comes, very mixed and annoying weather here.

Do not talk to me about TENS machines Elaine. Remember a while ago I told you all about the time my back went. In those days it would go because the glutes would go into such a severe spasm that they would push the pelvis into the spine, there's supposed to be a gap but when there isn't believe me the pain is unimaginable. I'd go to get out of bed and my legs wouldn't hold me and next thing I'd be passed out on the floor. Hubby would have to use his height and strength like a hoist to lift me completely straight without my feet touching the floor to get me back on the bed. So, he borrowed our neighbour's TENS machine to try on the glutes but being an idiot and despite being told to start it off low, he set it to the highest setting and whacked it against my back. It must have looked like something out of Frankenstein's monster, I screamed and my body jerked and the pain was horrendous. He then brought me a nice comforting and soothing cup of tea but of course I had to lie flat to eat and drink so he brought a straw. How could this possibly go wrong, except that he decided to rest the red hot cup against my cheek and it felt like I was being branded. I dread the thought of ever being incapacitated and left to him looking after me, I don't think I'd last long.

    Good morning Snappers
Sorry Susie your tens machine tale made me laugh out loud and it must have been excruciatingly painful but you do have a way of telling these stories
I have two pink photos today
First of all my little magnolia is so full of flowers this year

And secondly I noticed one of the houses opposite me have a beautiful plant climbing their wall and producing these lovely pink flowers, I think it’s a honeysuckle but not sure
