What are we deleting? If I delete a few photo's each time I come on it wall have a good impact. I just need to know what I'm doing.

Elaine how did you edit yours please? Can it be done on here or do I need to start again back on my computer?

I deleted mine..then Reloaded the same photo that I had resized on my phone. It was time consuming but not difficult if you have an iPhone or iPad (other than Ellie or Maria who unfortunately doesn’t have the right type.)

Sorry I didn’t mean to cause confusion. I just thought I’d be helpful and go back two months on the two threads I use most for loading photos.....the cardmaking thread and here. I think if we all remember to use smaller photos where we can from now on it will sort it out for good. Sadly I think some people that it isn’t easy for will probably stop loading into these threads. To be perfectly honest..I always thought that loading into here was saving gallery space! It’s been a revelation!

Anyway..I’ve had a lovely scrappy day. I did eight in total. Three of which are in the gallery but I can’t load any more today.

Elaine I think you did brilliantly - I couldn't be bothered to put the few that were full size back at reduced size.

I would hate it to make people stop posting and I had no idea it was using so much space until we had to start looking at how to save space across the boards.

Glad you had a good day - I online cropped too and made 7 pages today

I thought the same Elaine and did wonder about photo size and why it didn't tell you there was a restriction as it does with the gallery. So I think we all probably thought it was different in some way and didn't matter, had we known it was an issue we would never have loaded large files.

Hubby's just gone to Pets At Home to buy incontinence pads for the old guy. Not that we need them as such but his bottom has a sore on it fro falling on it, so we are padding him up when he goes out so if he does fall it won't hurt him and give his skin time to heal.

By the way ladies, remember I mentioned the offer on QVC for the propolis well, it arrived and the wash now has white willow in it and it is gorgeous. It is my shower gel in future, the smell is so fresh and delicate but with all the healing powers of propolis.

Aww poor old guy. Hope he’s not too sore.

I didn’t give uploading photos was a problem either. It doesn’t state a size restriction.

I did look at the wash Susie, but didn’t get any because it is fragranced, and I can’t
use fragrant body wash. It somehow brings on my cystitis!!!! The Bain of my life .
I just use Simple shower gel.

I don't use it down there Ellie, I only ever use Dermol 500 lotion and definitely nothing with a perfume in. I just use it as a body wash in general.

Well, what a palaver, the pads are a nightmare to get on because they told us large would be perfect but he needs extra large, it goes by waist size. There's a little hole cut out for his you know what and they are cushioned so if he falls his bottom won't get injured. But back they go and the other pants hubby bought because they are black and would 'look better' over the pads in the large size are only 22inch waist and we did say he's a 27 inch waist.

Now the cat has diarrhoea, I'm worried what is wrong with him. Bless him he did do some of it in his litter tray, the rest on the carpet. If he's no better by Monday it will be the vets for him. Ah well, we haven't been there for a few days and we can't have them missing us now can we.

I'll have to get a photo and see if I can make it fit the prompts.

Crumbs..as you say Susie ..what a palaver.

I was thinking about the resizing photos for Ellie and Maria. I use a very simple, quick, app that takes me about 10 seconds to resize my photos for the galleries. It is called Resize app. If you phone or iPad uses apps this is a far quicker way than opening up a whole program, or even worse, not uploading because of it!
It literally takes a moment to do. I’m putting some instructions here as I have mentioned this before to several people and they all agree it is very quick and simple in comparison to other programmes they have previously used. I know we all have our own way of doing things but I wouldn’t recommend it if I didn’t think you could use it without any faff.

Once Maria and Ellie have seen this I will delete the images as the iPad only gave me the option of ‘actual size’ when uploading.
    Anyway..download the app first
    Attachment 209580

Then click on no 1 and choose your photo
    Attachment 209581

Then click on no 2 and choose your dimensions.. I use 560 x 560

That looks very straightforward Elaine and a great help to have the screenshots too

Elaine I have just tried it ... I had the app from when you recommended it before ... it’s really simple ... thank you

Oh Susie that does sound a palava .. poor chap

And oh no ... the cat now. We never did find what caused it in our two ...now 9 days ago. It was 24 hours of awfulness then it just went. Don’t think it was giardia linked.
