    More lovely cards Elaine.
And you too Susie, I particularly love the cut-out effect of the second card with all that sparkle shining through.

Thanks ladies, I too love that die Nat. It's a Honey-Doo die and I just thought that open leaf design could lend itself to all sorts of cards. It is going to be on every Mother's Day card this year, all the same except for odd tweak in wording on the front perhaps.

Very pretty Elaine, I love that stamp, it reminds me of Aloen font which I use a lot.

    Lovely cards Elaine.
I have one .taken your idea. My stamp isn’t as sharpe as yours, but it’s meant
to be that way. I just thought, it’s not the right colours !!
Oh never mind here it is.

Beautiful cards ladies, I’ve never made a card so just looking in here.

Elaine - can I ask on your beautiful cards, do you make the bows and jar lids etc yourself and if so how, what are they made of? Sorry for being nosey I’m just in awe.

You’re very welcome to ask Dee. I stamp them and cut them out..sometimes using dies, sometimes I fussy cut things to use. Both the bow, ‘ribbon’ and jar lid are stamped and I used dies to cut them out. I’m rubbish at colouring so I don’t do that (I see you’ve asked that on another thread). I avoid it like the plague so I tend to stick with the type of stamp you don’t need to colour in.
You’re very kind about my cards, thank you. Xx

Thanks for that Elaine, one more question and I will leave you alone (for now). Are they cut out on a very thick card or a very thin wood? I’m nosey I know but you’re skill is on another level, I can see why you have so many orders.

Oh how sweet. It’s just use regular white card that I buy from The Works. I raise some bits on foam pads for dimension. Ask away! Always happy to share my ideas.
