Down time problems
Hi there all!
We are having issues with attachments.
The biggest attachments are in the Cutfiles section. Is there an easy way to identify attachments that are no longer used? For example, if there are files from versions of the CR/Silhouette machines that are no longer usable (or perhaps usable by so few people that they can be removed with little impact) or some other criteria that makes sense?
I don't want to remove anything that people will miss, but I need to take action to save us having downtime repeatedly
I am also considering removing any cut-file that has never been downloaded for example, if I am able to identify those. But input from those here would really be helpful!
Are .GSD files still usable?
Thanks
Mary Anne

.GSD files can still be used in Sihouette Studio Maryanne. If there are any .GRA files I doubt they would be used any more.

Fab. that is helpful! There are nearly 500 of those so I am going to delete them and that may buy us a bitof time!

Hi Mary Anne - can I put my two penneth in? What about deleting any that have not been looked at / downloaded for a specific period of time - maybe 2 years or something? Just a thought.

That could probably clear a great deal of space judging by how many come on here (or at least post) now yiayia

Would it help to delete any file that has not been used in a 2 year time frame?
I thought .gsd files are not good unless a person has the converter file.
Thank you

I tried some of my old GSD files Pertrina and they open fine in Studio but I do think it would be a good idea to delete some of the older ones.

I too have used GSD files in studio, they then save as studio files
