    Score lines

Has anybody tried scoring the lines on a project by reducing the pressure and setting the blade to 1 and if so how successful has it been?
Some of my makes are fine with dashed lines but on others they look a bit ugly.
I use a portrait on designer edition. I'm surprised there isn't a score tool available.
Anyway I'd be interested to know how you've got on if you have given it a go.

I have tried but found the cut was still too deep but that might be due to the thickness of the card. I’m guessing the thicker the card the better it would work if you know what I mean.

I've read over the years some people use an empty biro in the pen holder to do the scoring but I've not tried it myself. I have the original Cameo so don't know about the newer version's

I seem to remember trying a score line with an empty biro but the result was disappointing. If I need any scoring I do it manuually and I do agree that the dotted lines can be a bit intrusive.

I have tried wrapping tape around an embossing tool, bought the Cricut score tool and done the same to fit. But the score line is just a mark and not deep.

Thanks. Think I'll just do them by hand then if I need to.
