Portrait cutting twice

Hello and Happy New Year.
My Portrait is cutting the shape and then cutting it again below?
Any ideas why?

Can you show us a picture of what it's doing ?

It's ok, I took all the plugs out and leads then made a cup of tea, drank it, then plugged it all back in, tried again and bingo! It was working fine.
Very odd though it was cutting say a circle then cutting it again but through the middle of the first circle?

Very odd but good it is sorted now.

The same thing happens to me- but rarely.
I understand it if I had checked double cut, or if I copied the same image over itself but other times there is no reason at all.
Not enough to really bother me but still an odd quirk.
Some times when I go to the cutting screen, it shows twice when I had not clicked on the type paper twice so I just x out of one of them.
