Card challenge no 2 for january

Hi all. Karen asked me to post up a second Card Challenge each month. We want to encourage those who only make cards to participate in more than one challenge if they would like to.
OK, so it most likely won't be to the standard that Nat manages so consistently but it will at least give you something to think about!

SOMETHING OLD, perhaps old stash, old photo etc.

SOMETHING NEW, maybe new stash, using a new piece of equipment, new technique

SOMETHING BORROWED, perhaps a card layout seen elsewhere, an unusual colour scheme etc.

    SOMETHING BLUE pretty self explanatory

Combine any THREE of the above for 10 points.

I do hope you enjoy this.
Please let me have your comments - I'm new to this and would welcome any feedback you have to offer.

Thanks Yiayia. Looks like a great challenge to me, thankyou.
I need to make a first birthday card soon, plus there are tons of family birthdays in February so any inspiration helps

OK, so, here is an effort from me to show just how loosely you could interpret the prompts!!!
The central plaque has been sitting in a pile of stuff on my desk - well, since Nelson lost his eyeball - so OLD.
The pale pink backing is new - I admit to filching wallpaper samples from a local budget bargain shop. (they must think I am decorating mad!) NEW
The picture of the scroll and overlapping roses is BORROWED from Pinterest and I just added the text.
The card base is BLUE / green colour

PS - sorry for the rubbish photo - must recharge the battery on my camera.

Lovely Yiayia. I do like the pearls and the surrounding die cut.
    Nice colours too.

Thank you ladies - can't wait to see how many folk join in and what their take on the prompts are. No adverse criticism so far thank heavens!!

Lovely card and some great elements to play with. Will get my thinking cap on as I really need to get back in the "making" groove after the Christmas break and full on Christmas cardmaking in the run up.
