I like chatting in here amongst our own little group where people can come and find us if they want to. We’ve been here for years and I am not very happy about moving. I have said as much in the new thread.

As you know, the discussions last year were about streamlining things and making it easier for people To join in so the challenges are located in the challenges forum. No one is saying you can’t chat here ... there are lots of chat threads people join in with but the challenge is in the challenge forum

So are we chatting here or on the other thread. I can see why it has been moved but I did like it here since it was about photo's as opposed to scrapping in general. I can only really chat on one thread as I haven't time to keep repeating myself and I will get confused as to what I've said and where. It's bad enough in daily life when I keep saying to people "Have I told you this already?"

I'll go with the flow but I must admit I liked it here too and I always directed newbies here anyway.

I think I just don't like change and it becomes more obvious as I get older.

Of course everyone has a view ... that’s important. It’s why we changed things after everyone aired their views last year. It was only ever about making UKS work efficiently for everyone and this really was purely about putting a challenge in a challenge forum and not to stop ANYONE chatting anywhere

We post just photos in the snap challenge.

We can chat on here if we want to, which I will

What about the Photogenics group, does that still exist?

Well I didn’t think it would cause such a cafuffle !!

As Karen said, there was a lot of discussion about encouraging more people to join us here on UKS and moving to the challenges thread made sense so more people can see it.
This group has pretty much been exclusively one group of people contributing but it is open to anyone, and did initially start as a challenge, and I wanted SNAP to be recognised as such.

I’m sorry but I really don’t see the issue, we have just moved to a slightly different place, and if you want to chat in the snap thread you can continue to do so as we have always done.
Some people are choosing to chat in just one forum, which I can understand as it can be confusing to repeat yourself several times, and remember what you have said where , but that each persons choice

The Photogenics team is still there too, and we have a challenge to set in March !! It can also be a place for general chat if you want to keep to a small group

There’s also the daily chat which most of us use anyway

Why not give it time and see how it goes, it’s only been one day

Thank you Alison. I just wanted to know where we were all going to chat.
I didn’t know if the Snap was just for posting photos
but, it’s for chatting as well, so we have just swapped one place for another.
