I had a routine Mammogram last week.. it was just the same for me. I’m awaiting the results.

Ellie hasn’t been in the other thread either..I’m sure she’s fine. Probably gone shopping

I usually have one every year Elaine and never have a problem. But this time I seemed to be standing in a different position, the same happened with my sister at a different hospital. The young woman was lovely and very gentle but the pain I was in, muscles and joints was so bad, I felt very light headed. After I sat outside and the pain everywhere just kicked off. I know it is because of the M.E. but it has never happened before the pressure part was fine it was just getting into the position necessary. Then I was woken up this morning with terrible breast pain and that has never happened before either so I'll be ringing my doctor if that doesn't go away. My sister had to go and have acupuncture her neck was so painful after and I think I will need chiropractic, I felt something 'go' in my neck, but my hips and back and shoulders are dreadful. Hopefully it will settle down but I just wondered if anyone else has noticed a difference in the way the test is done now.

Such a dull miserable and dark day here today, I keep thinking that the shortest day is around the 20th December and bring it on.

    Evening all
I am here. Shopping indeed Elaine... I wish
No it’s been a bit busy here . We have been in the garden all day.
Cutting plants back ,getting ready for the bad weather. Although today it’s not
been too bad, windy but ok.
I cut all my hellebores back . Any old or laid down leaves. I was surprised how many
new shoots with buds on ,there were.
Then Sainsbury’s order came and I dealt with that. It seemed to take ages to
put away today, not there were many more things on the order.
Then I’ve been getting dinner ready, and just sat down for 5mins
I’ve also been deciding where to site a pice of iron work DH is going to make me.
We had an old wooden beer barrel that has fallen to pieces. DH saves the iron bands
that were round it and he’s going to make me something to put in the garden.
    Not sure what yet.

Susie that sounds painful. It shouldn’t be, a bit uncomfortable maybe, but not painful
    Hope you feel better tomorrow.
I haven’t had one for a while. They stop doing them after you are 70.
You can request one I think ,if you think you need one.
    Ellie

I envy you the gardening Ellie, our weather is so miserable. You can request them if you need them though I do wonder if they are doing more harm than good at times, all that crushing and radiation, especially when you have as many as I do.

Looking forward to seeing what your DH designs for you Ellie.

It was dryish here yesterday too so DH spent a lot of time in the garden doing the autumn tidy up. It looks better for it. Still more to do but it’s getting there.
It rained overnight again though so it remains to be seen what the weather will be like once it’s not dark. I’m up with the lark again this morning. I didn’t sleep quite so well last night though I think that’s to be expected. I have a rotten headache too so I shall try and stay off here too much. I’ve got some TV to catch up on and I’m cooking a roast later but I must finish one more layout that I started yesterday but have decided it’s not. Lol

I love the funny Elaine. I remember one of my neighbours could not believe how stressful it was having her husband home all the time.

Dry here today and I'm torn, should I be making cards which really need making, do the garden or get on with house clearance which is coming to a point where I am starting to worry about it. Oh heck, I'm worrying about all of it. Whatever I do I constantly feel as if I should be doing something else. Oh and let's not forget the mountain of paperwork, could someone put Christmas back by a month or so please.

Still done nothing Denise apart from comment on the points thingy and probably sidetracked it completely but unintentionally. I must go and do something or it will be dark soon.
