Elaine hope the eyes are ok now. I bet they really hurt.
I can’t eat chilli so there’s no chance of me touching some in this house.

Glad the old guy is getting out for a bit. How Is Jeff these days
    I don’t know why I’m laughing, he’s younger than me !!

Elaine, that pennant is a real work of art!

Oh thank you. I’ve done all six pennants now. I’ll take a photo tomorrow.
My eyes are fine now thankfully . I found a Remedy to get rid of the chilli. You douse your hands in oil and rub it in then add washing up liquid to make an emulsion. It’s still lingering a bit though. Next time I’ll wear gloves. DH loves chilli or I wouldn’t bother with fresh chillies.
You only get the symbol I mentioned on Safari.. ie the browser. Other than that, to close the app, you do as Alison said and press the dimple/ home button, you won’t wear it out believe me!

I've bought the wrong phone!!! I need the 8plus to get the good camera so it will probably be going back. I'll see how the photo's look when I find out how to email them to myself. It was easier with the Samsung I have to say, not sure what I did but don't know how to get my Mac email address on this phone. I've set up my gmail account but I never use that.

My poor husband is getting some stick on here, I have told him, thank goodness he's used to be laughed at.

Glad your eyes are okay Elaine. I remember spraying hairspray right in my eyes years ago and for some reason bathed them in milk, it worked a treat. No idea why I used it, it was the first thing that came into my head but it soothed them straightaway.

That was my worry that the home button would break in no time because I was using it so often. Nice to know it won't. Look forward to seeing the other pennants now Elaine.

You don’t need to email them to yourself Susie.
If you have a Mac book you can airdrop them to yourself... However if you have a PC you can’t do that. YouTube how to send them to a PC without emailing them..if you email yourself the quality will drop.
Youtube will tell you how to do most things on an IPhone! The 8 has a perfectly good camera! It doesn’t have portrait mode but that is all you will really miss. I have the 8 plus and rarely use the portrait mode.

Thanks Elaine. Too late, I hooked up the leads and uploaded the lot to my Mac, but then I wasn't sure where I'd sent them to. Anyway, they have all arrived in photo's and it charged the phones battery into the bargain. I wasn't sure why I couldn't seem to get airdrop to work, I'll find out at some point and maybe you're right I just need to test the phone when it is brighter, it was dusk when I was taking photo's later on today. Here's one I took earlier though, I think it can fit the T for The Joker, grasping I know. What a hideous mask. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it.

    Lol..brave choice of mask!
As long as you are fumbling your way through you will soon work it out.
Slept very badly last night..on account I had a fantastic sleep on Friday I fear (almost 11 hours)...so today I feel like a wet rag whereas yesterday I was raring to get into my craft room!

Susie. The iPad and I phone can be linked together and photos will automatically copy from one to another via iCloud or something. I would think the Mac has a similar thing ?
I didn’t realise the 8 and 8 plus had the same camera? I like the plus as it’s bigger.

And I’ve made three individual pennants too for other swaps and secret Santa’s I’m involved in. My craft room is a hell of a mess now though so I have to get to that next

Thanks Alison, that was what I was doing at about 2am. Funny thing is it was the first thing I tried to hook up the android phone to my Mac forgetting they wouldn't link, then, when I actually have an iPhone I forgot to hook them up. So all my photo;s off my phone are in the Cloud but I want to delete them off my phone and was told if I do that it deletes them out of the Cloud so how is that helpful. The reason I wanted to store them so I wouldn't clog up the phone. I am going to try to delete some and see where they disappear from, I'll only learn by playing and fiddling around. they don't have exactly the same camera or at least it functionality is different i.e lack of portrait mode. I'm going to test it this afternoon. I just thought the difference was a size thing too.

    Love the table Alison.

Beautiful tags Elaine, you have been busy. Amazing what a good night's sleep will do. Seeing your trough reminds me, we bought pansies weeks ago and they are still sitting in the front garden in their trays, must do something with them.
