Just typed a post and it disappeared, I hate that. Anyway, as I was saying Ellie, that is a fantastic card, I love the background paper whose is it?

Beautiful Elaine. Love the font, and the metallic hearts.

Very striking card Elaine, elegant simplicity.

I've made one which I haven't glued together yet and it does fit the challenge, I'll see what I can do.

So this looks awful in the photo, very patchy leaves and they look dark but it does look better in real life, not sure why. So, first attempt with inks and washes, the background didn't work out how I wanted it to. The stamp was too solid although I'm pleased with the embossing and the embossing on the vellum. Of course, the vellum is wonky and how do you flatten watercolour paper to stick on a card Elaine? Other than that it's fine, it's a work in progress. I can't believe we are at the end of another month.

Lovely colours Susie. It looks fine to me, but they always look better in real life.
Like the BG colour as well.

Thanks Ellie, I think the fact that the stamp only allowed for colour on one side made it look uneven to me and I didn't see that until I started to colour it in. Also the gold background card looks like it is missing on the right hand side but my fault for taking the photo so late, but it is one more for the challenge.

Susie..if you can’t use actual watercolour paper to make your card, you just have to lay it under something heavy..any paper will warp unfortunately.
