Thanks ladies and what a pretty card Elaine. Love the sewing machine, I must get my Silhouette out but have no where for it to go really. Lovely flowers too and such a pretty stamp and dotty background. Beautiful shade of pink.

Even with a craft room the size of mine I still don’t have anywhere for it to go. I bring it out and use it on the dining table then cut lots of files and put it away again.

I’ve got the little portrait. It’s at the back of my desk, next to the computer.just need to make the effort to use it !
Maybe I need to do that and cut a few things all at once. Do you just cut a selection of things you like in white ?

Yes I do..sometimes black too. Mostly white because if I need it in another colour I can ink it or paint it.i never bother to get it out to cut one item.

Good idea Elaine, I should do that because I have 1000's of files and I love the print and cut feature and there patterned papers too.

I need to see what files I have and have a go, and recommendations for good sources of cut files ?

Oh, and just a reminder if you are posting any cards, the post is very slow right now. I posted a card to my brother first class, it took 2 weeks to get there !!

I have sent mail which has taken 4 days and more recently 2 days Alison. I have a subscription with Silhouette and have had for years. You can set exactly how much you want to spend per month and how many files you want to be buy and of course, they constantly have sales on and freebies too. I know there used to be a thread on here and probably still is for the kind people who share their files for free.

Here's my Captain Tom card, looks a bit skew-whiff, probably get done for copyright but you'd have to be exceptionally mean to do that for this occasion. Must get started on my May cards next.

In case you can't make it out that is a star font, I love it so handy.

Fab card Susie. I’m sure no one will worry about copyright on this occasion.
I used the Silhouette studio too. I am too lazy to learn how to convert files from other sources.

Lovely card Susie. Did you see all the cards he received ?! Amazing , wonder what they will do with them all. Even the stamps have been saved for charity , what an amazing sweet man

Just been fiddling with some paper scraps left from Easter cards that I made and forgot to photograph using the prompts colours, I don’t usually go so bright, made a nice change ....

Here's mine, I finished it late last night and it was to dark to photograph.

I used the colour palette and tag for inspiration
