Exclamation 2020 card challenge - April

    Good morning!

I hope you are all staying well. <3

With its rainbow colours, the April prompt is definitely apt for these times. But it also features other elements that will work nicely on a card project - even if you can't send it or give it in person right now.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Past prompts will all be tagged under 2020 card challenge on my blog so you can find them easily in one place.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2020handmadecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

    The Pin-spiration for April is....

    04 - April pinspiration.jpg

I look forward to seeing how you interpret it - remember I've listed a few tips over on the blog post for this month.

    Points for this challenge:
On top of the standard 5 points per any card you make, if you make a card for the monthly challenge you can now claim an extra 10 points!
As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.

    Stay safe and happy crafting!

I am trying to do a card for a 16 year old girl so the colours are great but what do they like these days? I've laid out a background of hearts with a big 16 in the middle, I've done it digitally so far and then I can print some and die cut or stamp the rest, we'll see. Any ideas would be welcome.

Maybe just use strips or pieces of it Alison.

As you can see I’ve gone for the finger painting technique

I might send this to my DGS who is working abroad with the UN at the moment.

Nice work Ellie, that was quick!
Perfect envelope Alison, girl after my own heart- saving that, even better if you use it. I'm better at saving than using.
8 cards to make this month plus Easter so I should manage to get something to fit the bill.
