    February 2020 Week 4

Good Morning, welcome to my first solo challenge of 2020.

As we are all being encouraged to reuse, reduce and recycle I’m hoping this challenge will help you to use up some unloved paper scraps and embellishments you’ve not used in your stash for a while.

This year is a leap year, so the aim of this challenge is to use a total of 29 pieces of paper and embellishments on your LO. Looking forward to being inspired by you all

There are points and there’s a count tally!

    1. Use 1 photo. Count the number of pieces of paper/card you use to mount your photo and start totting up the pieces of paper you're using, its ok to use 0. (5 points)

    2. Use a piece of old 12 x 12 you're not fond of for the base (I used the reverse side to give me a white background). As we all need a base to get started this isn’t included in the target of 29. (5 points)

    3. Using your scrap paper cut out lots of the same shape ie. squares, circles, hexagons, 12" strips etc and use lots to decorate our LO. Count the number of shapes used. ie 15 squares = 15 in the counts tally. (10 points)

    4. Dig out some old embellishments, journalling cards, stickers, brads, ribbon, chipboard (a mix of some old stuff) and add to your layout. Adding enough pieces to make your paper + embellishment tally =29. (10 points).

Hope this is all clear, if not ask away and I’ll do my best to help.

When you post your finished LO’s please show us how you reached 29 pieces of paper/embellishments

    Here's my example for you:

    I've used
    1 x photo mount
    16 x squares from scraps
    6 x flowers
    3 x brads
    1 x preprinted tag
    1 x journalling sticker
    1 x chipboard with phrase
    29 TOTAL

Here are a couple of other samples I've done for previous challenges:

    Thanks, Happy Creating

    Lou x

Good question Mary Buttons, the challenge is for a 1 photo LO.

I'll update my first post to avoid confusion.

    Thanks

Loved this challenge, here’s my take on it. All scraps and odd bits & pieces.

    Narly piece of backing card
    1 photo
    1 backing card
    1 brad
    1 paperclip
    3 x paper embelishments
    1 scalloped sticker
    21 banner shapes
    =29
