Update re Scanner not found issue

Some info from the beta testing group re the scanner not found issue in the 64 bit version of Studio. So far they haven’t found a solution but suggest the following :-

    There are two workarounds:
    1. See if your scanner works with the in built drivers. Uninstall your manufacturer drivers and then try to add the scanner in Printers & scanners - Add a scanner.
    2. Use the 32-bit version of Studio. This may have performance implications, but it may suit you fine.
If these are not suitable, using Windows Fax and Scan and importing the resulting image is the only option at this time.

Personally I’m not bothering, I just scan into a photo editing program like Photoshop, save as a jpeg or png then open that in Studio but just thought I would share.

Not sure it's much of a help really Doreen - if scanners work with other 64 bit programs I wouldn't have thought it would be that hard to rectify it for Studio but what do we know

To be honest I would do the same as you use a photo editing program Shirley but your post might help someone

Thank you Shirley. It's a pity a solution can't be found yet but fingers crossed they get there eventually.
