Donít start me on vacuums! I have 2 Orecks. One I keep upstairs save me lugging my Dyson upstairs and itís good but you need bags and I hoover every day and my Dyson Drum fills up twice! If the dogs were allowed upstairs the Oreck wouldnít be cost effective on bags. The other was Mums and I took it as a spare. I have had two Gtechs! Loathed them. Mum bought me one and as I had already got one I sold it. One was the Ďanimalí version. I donít think the battery ones are any good. I have a rechargeable Dyson too. Itís good on hard floors but rubbish on the carpets. The only one that does a half reasonable job is my corded Dyson.?So... if youíre counting thatís 5 vacuums and Iím now considering buying a Shark!

My son bought a shark on line says it is super but I didn’t want to buy on line so went to the range this machine cost £95, could have gone cheaper or dearer, picks up lovely but doesn’t have a very big capacity so just hoovering the hall and it’s full and not easy to get all the fluff out still much much better than my old one

Susie. It’s 2in height and 10 in in circumference. It got 6 slots for different coins.
It has a key hole in the top, but no key. It’s also got a serial number on.
Might take it to the bank and see what they can tell me.

I have 2 vacuums . One heavy one ,which is a Sebo and it’s very good.
The other is a cordless Bosch. Which is also good, quite powerful, and
it doesn’t need recharging all that often. Works on hard floors and carpets.
I use it everyday, and the heavy one once a week.
    Ellie.

    Morning all.
I think it’s the combination of hairy dogs (although Susie beats me hands down on that one) and a carpet that seems to act like Velcro! It’s the same one throughout the house and the dog hair is a devil to remove. My BIL and SIL have the same cordless Dyson as me and they love it..but they don’t have dogs. I’ll stick to what I have for now and when I can I will try the Shark but having 6 vacuums does seem a bit pointless..although I’ve just realised DH has a Henry in the garage too for mucky jobs! So we already have 6
Susie you asked about my cake: I ordered Lemon Madeira on the bottom, chocolate on the top. Red marbled fondant icing with gold leaf and sugar paste roses, two tiers. This girl is a friend of my daughters and is an amazing cake maker. (Sorry to bore you all)
