Okay, I'm sorry Ellie but whatever that is it looks disgusting!

Didn't get the ring pull tab, did get the wood, well, I would say that wouldn't I. Beautiful photo and I wouldn't worry Alison, you'll be taking plenty more, get the big guns out.

The needle threader I got because boy do I need one most of the time Elaine.

Ellie, is that a sponge of some sort?

Loved the flowers, it is so wet today I'm not venturing out.

No it’s not a sponge, but it does live in the sea

Yes, you got it in one Elaine.
It’s a piece I picked up on a beach in Australia years ago.

Well done Elaine. It looks nice now Ellie once I know what it is of course. Now this next one looks like the end of flower/fruit stalks of some kind.

I have just been sitting opening birthday cards just a few minutes early because we are out tomorrow and it will be a rush and I wanted to sit and enjoy reading the lovely verses. Thank you ladies for the lovely card Ellie has made on your behalf. It is perfect and sooooooo cute. I will try to get a photo before we leave when we have some daylight. Thanks Ellie it is just lovely and really made me smile.x

It still hasn't stopped raining here, such a change in the weather, hope it's nicer tomorrow but we are indoors at the hairdresser's and then off to see the family. Not only do my hairdresser and I share the same birthday, we are both left handed too.

    Morning all
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSIE. Glad you like the card. Have a lovely day.

I thought it was some kind of stalk too Elaine.

I’m off to the hairdressers as well this morning.
I couldn’t get before Christmas and this is the first appointment I could get.
I’m desperate to get my hair cut. It’s nearly down to my shoulders and it’s
    driving me mad !!!!!!

Yes you are all right of course! The stalks of some grapes I’d eaten! Lol
Happy birthday Susie. Have a great day. Have fun with your hairdresser.
Hope the haircut goes well Ellie. Do you go to a regular? I have had the same hairdressers for about 10 years and I have tried a couple of (less expensive) ones in that time but I always go back to the same one. She’s fabulous and to compensate for how expensive she is I go less frequently now and colour my own hair once (with a semi permanent) once in between highlight appointments. I pay about £160 a time now. It’s a lot of money! To be fair though, when I have tired elsewhere they have only been about £20-£30 less. What do your appointment cost? A cut and blow dry alone is £62. It’s extortionate, but judging by how much the vet costs differ across the country I’m guessing you are all going to tell me I’m being ripped off..but I can’t find anywhere any cheaper. I don’t want to get it cut at home as I feel it’s one of two treats I get (the other being pedicures) so I make the most of it and enjoy the experience.
The architect is due today to measure up...can’t wait to see the plans!
