I think the boys are fascinated at the moment but not sure how long that will last. I’ve had then over at my place for the afternoon as Gemma wanted some rest, they have gone home now, found it hard with each boy wanting to do something different

Lol..well I actually never passed my test..I was always in L plates but I often rode pillion on Marks bike. We drove down through Spain once. It was a great adventure. Eventually I found it too uncomfortable..DH wanted racier Motorbikes with less comfort so I gave up riding with him but he still rides to this day. I haven’t been on this bike..the saddle is like a wafer!

I dropped my boyfriend's bike, it was so heavy and I never attempted to ride it after that, it was a Triumph very fast in those days but then we are talking the 60's! I was better on the pillion but was strictly forbidden to go on it so I had to sneak off. We rarely wore crash hats and I'd go home with the sides of my shoes scuffed when he was banking hard. Mum never figured out why these things happened. I'm horrified at what we got up to now. We used to have this stretch of road to see who could hit a 100 the fastest. Now when hubby is driving at 30 I'm telling him to slow down. I've become such a scaredy cat as I've got older or it just that I see the dangers more these days.

Boys do tend to be on the go don't they Mary. My niece has been poorly and she can cuddle up on the sofa and get some rest if it is just her and her daughter but when her son is there too which is nearly always, then it is off to do something energetic. She's hoping to have a rest on Sunday if his dad takes him out for a while. Of course, it's been worse because it has been the school holidays as well.

Still haven't found the photo of hubby but came across a lovely one of mum which I must scan and then I'll post it.

    Abi [02] - June 1988.jpg

Just to update you all on Freddie. Since being on tablets for IBS shes doing really well. Found some biscuit that she can tolerate and found only one flavour of Felix fish that doesn't suit so far does mean that theres actually 3 packets she cant have cos that one fish is in 2 of the double flavour pouches but the other 2 will just have to eat those lol

Wow, what a lovely thing to do. The sentiments say it all really.
Hope they enjoy it, they deserve it. Glad someone recognises their heroism .

    Thanks
SIL is still unresponsive. I’m afraid that there is no change, just a matter of time .
