Hope you're having a good time Alison.

Sad news, the little cat died in the night.

Oh I’m so sorry Susie. How sad for such a young cat.
My Bella has had her bandage off her ear today and had another 10ml drained but they hope she won’t need surgery. Fingers crossed.
Have fun Alison. As long as we know you’re alive we can wait until Monday.
How are you faring with the floods Ellie?

Oh no Susie. That’s so sad after all the efforts to save it. (Hugs )

Glad Bella is getting there Elaine, hopefully she won’t have to have an op.

We are ok thanks, although it’s raining again.
We had @ stream running through the garage yesterday and the utility needed mopping out,
but that was all. We have put off going to the hospital today because there are
so many road closures in Sheffield that we wouldn’t be able to get there.
DH phoned and they said that SIL was comfortable, so that’s ok.
She doesn’t know we are there anyway, but you feel as if you ought to be there.
We will go in the morning instead.
    Ellie

Thanks ladies, it isn't actually my cat Sandra, my nephew moved in with his girlfriend and it is or was her cat but we were going to the vets with them because it is our vet and they trust him. To be honest, there was no chance it would go any other way really, but you have to try to keep them going and in herself until this week she was carrying on as if there was nothing wrong with her. Animals always amaze me how they just get on with things. Anyway, they tried everything they could and we've learnt something that I certainly never knew, about heart failure being so common in what we think of as young cats. It is common in what is termed middle ages cats 5/6 years, as opposed to old cats. We'd all become so attached to this little cat and she had a mammary tumour removed in March and then this, but each time just acted as if it was all nothing, bless her. The girls are tough, if it was our boys they would be feeling really sorry for themselves and make sure we knew it too.

I'm just off to groom the boys and they will both try to hide and look as though they are being murdered, pathetic ASBO pair!

Elaine, I will keep everything crossed Bella doesn't need surgery. Hope she is on the mend soon.

Ellie, I didn't realise it was so bad by you. It has been dry and sunny here today but the leaves underfoot are staggering now, should get a photo as they look beautiful until they become mulch.

Told hubby about your beautiful ring Elaine, I swear he gave a big gulp.

Elaine, your ring is stunning, so beautiful. Susie, so sorry to hear about the poor cat, really sad. Good luck with catching and grooming your boys, LOL. I went to a keep fit class this morning, and to a card making session in Aylsham this afternoon, so a busy day. Tomorrow I'm doing more sorting and on Sunday I'm going with Mabel to the Norfolk food and gift fair at the Norfolk showground. Has anyone else got plans for the weekend? Ellie (((HUGS))) hope the flooding subsides soon in your neck of the woods, it must be really awful for everyone suffering.

More grooming for us and then cleaning, lots of cleaning.

Good luck with the sorting Sheila, I could do with a big clearance out but it only seems to happen in dribs and drabs, life keeps getting in the way. Next week it's the vets, next day acleaning company are coming to check out neighbour's house, haven't told him yet and then the neighbour's doctor wants to see him on Wednesday, the diabetic nurse Friday, so one day in just for us really. My brother is coming over from France so he is staying next weekend but we've been invited a birthday party on the Saturday. Our neighbour's little girl is 2 so I really want to squeeze in an hour or so for that, she is adorable. It is the little girl in the October Photogenics LO I made.

Sounds like you had a good and productive day today. The food and gift fair sounds nice too.

Good afternoon or is it evening.
Lovely photo Mary. It was frosty here this morning.
Flooding seems to have gone down. Last night we went out to dinner and
had to drive through a flooded road. Some fishing lakes had flooded and
we’re running down the road. I expected to see fish all over the road, but
    didn’t see any.
Mary well spotted, Rufus looks happy.
    Elaine the sweets look delicious.

    Morning
I was out all day yesterday at a Christmas fair with friends and then when I came home I was labelling and mounting my pictures Iíll be trying to sell next weekend.
This morning I got up and was feeling a bit scrap deprived so I did this Scraplift challenge from Maryís lovely layout.

Here are my paintings all mounted and priced up
