What a lot of lovely photo's.

Ellie, your garden looks immaculate ours is destroyed by the weather. I think the lawn has to go, it is like a quagmire, truly. We either have to have a fake lawn put down or something and we need new decking. Hubby has been repairing it the last few years. How long is it supposed to last does anyone know? Our was done in 1996, my how the time flies.

Gorgeous photo of d-i-l and hubby of course Elaine and don't you know your dog is Superdog! Willow used to lie like that and we reckoned he thought he was the doggy version of Superman. Brilliant photo and it doesn't take much to make our pets happy does it. Comfy carpet and a bit of sun and warmth, lovely.

I must say Mary, you have had some beautiful dawns. I love the way the pink flowers go with the pink in the sky. What are they, they look rather like cosmos, they are doing really well, ours have gone over now, too cold and wet for them I think?

Susie , I think you have done well with that decking.
If it was treated with preservatives, it will last quite a long time.
My garden is anything but immaculate. All the flowers are going over now,
and because of this rain ( it’s raining again now) it’s looking bedraggled.
I hate it when it starts to look drab.
    Are Mary’s flowers Japanese Anemone?

Nice Doggie photo Elaine, and also your son and DIL.

Funny you should mention Japanese Anemones because right after I posted I saw some advertised and thought they looked like Mary's, isn't that strange.

I think it is time to replace it Ellie, it is becoming hard work now and if we get another 20+ years hubby will be in his 90's and the last thing on his mind, if he has one, is decking.

Yes it is Japanese anemone both mine and next doors so two plants close together makes a lovely show and they have been better than ever this year
Thank you Sandra it’s been a good prompt and I’ve enjoyed it tremendously. These prompts make you notice what you have and what’s around you far more
