Great reflection anyway Mary! Great colours in those lenses. i can't find sunglasses that are dark enough to stop me squinting. Mine a distance polaroid and they are useless when it comes to blocking the sunlight, I have very light sensitive eyes, hubby reckons I should just wear a blackout blind.

Denise, if I catch that spider it will be squished!

Ellie, did I spy white flowers and an almost red sunset in that photo, clutching I know but it was worth showing it is beautiful? There's definitely blue in it too!

Lovely photo's, I love the fox Susie, how thoughtful of your neighbours sister. That's a lovely picture from your DH Ellie, typical shot of Norfolk. Sorry I've not been on much, not been well since Tuesday evening - got a tummy bug or food poisoning. Not eaten much now for 2 days, but just had a couple of satsumas because my mouth feels dry, even through I've been drinking loads of water.

Thanks Denise, it should be Ellie advising, she's the nurse. I am a bit suspicious thought of two tummy bugs so quickly after each other. Plain water and a dry Arroweroot biscuit was what my doctor told me to have not citrus. He actually told me the pith in oranges can cause stomach bugs - how true that is I don't know but it may not be the best thing to be eating if you are struggling with upset tum. Is it tummy or bowels or both Sheila? Do you have any Dioralyte to rehydrate you? I would think about seeing the doctor if it happens again soon and meantime keep a note of when this happened, what you'd eaten etc...

Great photo Ellie, we have Montbretia and we were given a very tall red one Devil's something or other but it needs to be moved it can't flower, not enough sun.

I have a foliage and I'm going to take a photo in a minute. Back from vet's and the old boy couldn't/wouldn't climb the stairs last night and came back from his treatment and was full if himself. Managed to drag hubby over to a piece of chicken that had been dropped on the floor outside Asda and then proceeded to lick a lady's shopping trolley as her chicken had leaked. When I fed them he did his jumping backwards through the air like a dolphin thing and then launched himself into the kitchen and spun round on the tiled floor without slipping over. I was just telling the vet that it didn't seem to be working as well as it did initially and then he's like this.

Anyway, I am going to keep a diary of what he does and when he does it, to see if there is a pattern to how he progresses after treatment. Can't afford to keep on paying for it if it isn't really working, but then, is it just keeping him steady. Last night as hubby was carrying him up the stairs we though ti was going to be time to pack in but now....

Sheila, I do hope you feel better very soon and try to keep a note of what's been happening.

Thank you Susie dear, you are such a good friend
Sheila that sounds like a persistent bug. Susie is right. Keeping
hydrated is the most important thing. Frequent sips of water is best.
If you are dry try sucking on an ice cube. Arrowroot root or ginger
biscuit is good, or a bit of dry toast. Avoid dairy, and I would go to see the Doctor if you are
    no better.
    Hope you feel better soon.

Susie, that is a giant Montbretia , and I think it’s called Red Devil, or Devil something.!
It grows really tall and gives a splash of colour.

Fancy the old boy dancing around after not being so agile.
The treatment must be working, even if it’s just for a short while.

    Ellie

Oh Ellie, you are very welcome. Also, you are right it is called Lucifer or Orange Devil, although I think it is more red.

Just going to see how the old guy manages the stairs, back in a bit...

Thanks for the advice and good wishes Susie & Ellie. I've tried eating dry toast but after a couple of mouthfulls I couldn't face any more. The first time I was like this it was just 2 Saturdays ago. I was just sick a lot that time. This time I was very sick at first, followed later by running to the toilet. I was sick again at 4.30 in the morning on Wednesday and have been running to the loo a couple of times today and a few times yesterday. I just feel completely drained and got no go in me atm. If it doesn't clear up tomorrow I'll see the Dr.

Did he dance up the stairs as well?
Yes it remember now ,it is called Lucifer! It’s one of the grasses that’s called Red something .
Just read a couple of chapters of my book. Now going to try and sleep.
Drs for me in the morning. I’ve got to be there for 8-50. I have to walk up two very steep hills
to get there ,so it will take me a while., puffing and blowing
    Ellie

We crossed there Sheila. Yes I would go to the Drs.
Sounds like Gastroenteritis. I had it a while ago, and it
makes you feel horrid. Hope you sleep tonight.
Let us know how you get on.
    Ellie

Well, aren't we all night birds! No he had to be persuaded to climb the stairs but I'm not sure if he is playing with us now. We have to persuade him with treats and if you touch him he takes his paw off the stairs.

Good luck with the Drs. Ellie, I hope you've got your list of questions.

You also sound like you need to see the doctor either way Sheila, especially if that first bout was food poisoning, you may have something lingering and it may need nipping in the bud. I hope you feel better tomorrow but get an appointment anyway, you don't want it coming back again, it is so debilitating.

I have my foliage photo. I bought an oilskin tablecloth of all things for the new table. It rained on it so I have water too if you can manage to see it. Oh and yes Mary, it would make a lovely background paper.
