    Thanks Susie
Another I’ve just made too. I was playing with alcohol inks and my dies and made this as it goes with the bright green in the ‘cornet bunting’

Love the second one Elaine. So unusual.
But the first ones are gorgeous . The embossing is lovely, and
the flowers are such a lovely colour. All of them superb.

Oh Alison you’d love it. It’s such fun!
Basically you get your Yupo paper (which is actually plastic) then wipe it with neat alcohol (no not Prosecco Susie ) and drop a few drops of alcohol ink on to it then blow it with a straw! Once it’s dry cut it into squares for your cards. Use a die to cut out the shape you want and another in white paper of the same die and carefully glue it and place in the die ‘hole’. Be careful not to get any glue on the ink though as it will smudge onto the white. It’s as easy as that although it’s quite expensive buying all the inks. I intend on using them for my art though so it’s worth it for me.

Great instructions Elaine. It looks really good.
I haven’t got any alcohol inks. It looks a lot like painting on silk.
I used to that and it was quite satisfying to see the different pattens.

You can use alcohol pens instead I gather. You could you tube it. I think Copics are alcohol. I’m sure you would find a link on Pinterest. I used 3 colours on each plus a mixative .. ie metallic.

Oh I do like the inky backgrounds Elaine.

I am no good with sort of thing, it goes all too quickly from fab to rubbish, but I have some ready made watercolour backgrounds I like to use.

I want to have a play ! Been on Pinterest for some more ideas.
Do you need to seal it once you’ve done ? It doesn’t wipe off again does it, being a smooth surface ?

Well they do say (if you were going to put it onto something like a coaster) that you should seal it.. but I think it’s ok on cards. If you wet it it would come off. Hence being careful with wet glue around it too.
